Altefeld ..... The cellar room

As I alluded to in my recall of Haus Eschwege, the basement room was decorated by some way out paintings on the walls and floor. I do not know who the artist was who painted these walls, but his characters and interpretation of the Parade of the Chain of Command is excellent. Unfortunately, I do not have a photograph of the spirals painted on the floor, but I do have three photographs of the walls.

Dean- Remember the green and black "spiral to infinity" painted on the floor of one of the basements rooms. Made you dizzy to stand in the middle and look straight down.    DGIORGI@prodigy.net (DONALD S GIORGI)

The first photograph is a corner of a room, with red and white squares in a diminishing perspective.

This painting started on one wall and went around the corner and continued on the adjacent wall, It had to be photographed in two photographs.

The first of the two photos of the Parade of Chain of Command, depicts the beginning of the parade.

The second photo is a continuation of the Parade. The more you study these photos, the more association with events come to mind.
